A multi-functional hinged knee brace was the quest set upon by Dr.
Thomas Knapp and the designers at Hely Weber Sports Medicine.

Dr. Knapp realized that in these ever challenging reimbursement times, a
brace that could solve more than one bracing need would be a very helpful tool
in the practitioners armamentarium. Pre-operative / Post-operative and
mild to moderate functional bracing is the goal of the Knapp hinged knee brace. This brace was designed to meet the ever changing needs of pre and post-op care
for the MCL/LCL and meniscal repairs, and might also be considered in it's
longer lengths as an adjunct to patella fracture and mild/moderate ACL and/or
PCL strains and sprains. Full hinge covers allow for full sport
participation.
